Game was great but had some issues with the RNG. There was a lot of times where it would just get stuck on a layer, moving other blocks that didn't help me go lower at all.
if a number is chosen that doesn’t really help you, you can avoid pushing it down to partially charge your pickaxe, which, when charged, will let you break the block below you. This way you have to balance pushing the columns down and relying on your luck
I was going to implement this, but I was having trouble and it was too close to the deadline for me to confidently commit to fully implementing that. The challenge mode has more numbers right away though
One note though is that pressing the numbers doesn't work if using the numpad (only top row numbers work), so I was quite confused at the start as to what the point was of pressing numbers since they did nothing 😅
If you don't push a column down, you can charge up the pickaxe, which, when charged, breaks the block below you (down arrow). Also there's some strategy to not pushing a column because it may open up future possibilities (like having access to more floorspace which naturally gives more chance for an accessible tile to be triggered).
I would love if there was some global button to push down a column. Ive found myself miss a column that i wanted to move down just because i pressed the wrong number.

Also I plan to make it such that if you're in a sticky spot and keep getting unlucky with which number is chosen, there's a way to possibly free yourself & survive. Thanks for the help🙏🙏
New bug (probably from fixing the old one): when you push down a column, it keeps flashing. (just a visual thing, you cant push it multiple times at once.)
Also, I would suggest a bag system for the columns (Say, a column can only get pushed down 3 times in total before every other one is), to fix getting unlucky, but any solution is good

Cool game! Could easily see adding things being added to this like coins / tokens to pick up for progression / high scores. Great job!
I've been mining for an hour now this game is hard!
I do love me some games that are quite easy to figure out, but also let you screw yourself over just as easily by sheer arrogance.

Oh my God what an addicting game this is. It is so challenging yet fun at the same time.
